Dip Sushi or Sashimi in Sushi / Sashimi Soy Sauce. (Be careful not to get too much soy sauce on the Sushi or Sashimi as it can overpower the taste of the natural ingredients.) The trick is to dip the sashimi side of Sushi in the soy sauce, not the rice side. In the case of Sashimi, dip around half of the fish side or one side only in soy sauce. This will prevent too much soy sauce from getting on the Sushi or Sashimi.
